As a pop filter, the m!ka PopShield prevents your microphone from overpowering when you speak or sing extreme sounds within its range.
M!ka PopShield eliminates pop artifacts from your voice sound. Pops occur mainly when spoken words begin with “plosive consonants” such as P, T, B or D.
Microphones with light diaphragms are especially susceptible to pops. The enhancement of pops by diaphragms not only sounds bad. It also tends to put preamplifiers into distortion. Avoid such problems by simply using M!ka PopShield and make your voice sound crystal clear.
Unlike others, M!ka PopShield can be mounted exactly where it makes the most sense: it attaches to the 5/8″ thread of your M!ka Mic Arm.
Thus, the M!ka PopShield follows all the settings of your microphone. Move your microphone arm or rotate and tilt your microphone, M!ka PopShield stays in the correct position.
