The Band Scanner GPS is portable and USB-powered, making it ideal for field work. It measures RF levels, MPX deviations, audio levels (left and right), RDS and pilot injection levels. The results can be displayed seamlessly in Google Earth. The band scan range includes 87 to 108 MHz. The included Windows software sweeps through the FM band, recording each carrier and generating a spectrum view of carrier level versus frequency, as well as a list of stations.
